What's with the potato?

Honestly, Captain Potato is my given name, and the picture depicts my persona instead of my person. But back in 2013, when I was getting Whatsapp up and running, I didn't have a picture of myself on my phone. For some reason, I found a picture of a potato in my downloads folder, which I've carried on until today.

On every platform that I use for communication, I've used this picture, and no one's really been bothered. That was until 2016, when I realised that this picture has become a significant part of my identity. There are people who are convinced that I look like a potato, and some even call me the Potato guy. My wife is known as Potato's wife, and my colleague's kid calls me "Uncle Potato".

I now sign my emails as Uncle Potato (cool, right?), and I've kept the potato intact, so that people know it's me even years from now.
